As the owner and provider of a home based daycare center, I am committed to facilitate the best learning opportunities possible by ensuring that our curriculum is centered around your young scholar in order to build a solid foundation. Our program is flexible and carefully designed to meet every child's developmental needs. To support our inclusive and diverse community, we provide a personal approach by tailoring learning methods to individual child. A caring environment in the comfort of home, where we provide children not with formalized instructions, but with hands-on experience and activities from which learning grows naturally.

We seek to be in tune to each child’s cues and attentive to their needs. Activities are planned to engage the child’s interest. Tone of voice is an important consideration in our approach to working with young children. The classroom environment is set up to be developmentally appropriate for all children that we serve. Our equipment is child friendly and promotes learning through play. We use many sensory activities throughout the day, including child-directed art activities. Play is a vital part of your child’s day as it influences total growth, including physical, mental, cognitive, emotional, and social development. For children, play is their work. It gives them a sense of accomplishment and purpose. Children's play is an activity; it does not necessarily result in a product. It may be built around toys and tools or it may involve nothing more than the child’s imagination.
We make sure that every child finds a path to success.
Hi! I am Shweta, I have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science & Engineering and prior to becoming an early childhood educator, I had over a decade of professional career in IT industry. As an educator and facilitator I served as an art docent for an elementary school in LWSD, FIRST Robotics mentor for middle and high school schoolers and as a professor for an undergraduate engineering program in Computer Science.
In my free time I enjoy hiking, wood working, gardening, and reading about nutrition and the latest technology trends.
The pandemic has thrown challenges at each and every one of us. With everyone working from home, I see parents confused and struggling to find childcare. I always had an inclination to the field of education and working with children so before calling quits to my successful IT career, I reached out to the Department of Child, Youth and Families (DCYF) and started working towards getting licensed. This included extensive child care basics training and a certification from American Red Cross in "Adult and Pediatric First Aid/ CPR/AED".
Here I am making an attempt to provide the quality early care while facilitating their ordinary play activities into magical learning experiences.
