As the owner and provider of a certified early achievers home based daycare center, I am committed to facilitating the best early learning opportunities possible by ensuring that our curriculum is centered around your young scholar to build a solid foundation. Our preschool program is flexible and carefully designed to meet every child's developmental needs. To support our inclusive and diverse community, we provide a personal approach by tailoring learning methods to each individual child. In a caring environment within the comfort of home, we offer children not with formalized instructions, but with hands-on experiences and activities from which learning grows naturally.

At our certified Early Achievers day care, we strive to be in tune with each child’s cues and attentive to their needs. Activities are thoughtfully planned to engage the child's interest. Tone of voice is a crucial consideration in our approach to working with young children. The classroom environment is designed to be developmentally appropriate for all children that we serve in our early learning program. Our equipment is child-friendly and promotes learning through play. We incorporate many sensory activities throughout the day, including child-directed art activities that are essential in our pre-school setting. Play is a vital part of your child’s day as it influences their total growth, encompassing physical, mental, cognitive, emotional, and social development. For children, play represents their work, offering them a sense of accomplishment and purpose. Children's play is an activity that does not necessarily result in a product; it may involve toys and tools or simply rely on the child’s imagination. We ensure that every child finds a path to success.
Hi! I am Shweta, and I hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science & Engineering. Before transitioning to become an early childhood educator, I spent over a decade building a professional career in the IT industry. As a passionate educator and facilitator, I have served as an art docent at an elementary school in LWSD, mentored FIRST Robotics for middle and high school students, and taught as a professor in an undergraduate engineering program focused on Computer Science.
In my free time, I enjoy hiking, woodworking, gardening, and reading about nutrition and the latest technology trends.
The pandemic has presented challenges for all of us, especially with many parents working from home and struggling to find reliable childcare. My interest in education and working with children led me to reach out to the Department of Child, Youth and Families (DCYF) to start my journey towards becoming a Certified Early Achievers educator. This process included extensive training in child care basics and earning a certification from the American Red Cross in 'Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED'.
I am now committed to providing quality early learning experiences in a nurturing day care environment, where I transform ordinary play activities into magical learning experiences for preschool children.
